Our white one played the game of chewing off the red one's 5-6 times so we just bought 20 at a discount. Then of course that behaviour stopped so I donated them to the shelter.
And while i do not hunt any longer (except barn pigeons) there is nothing like a bird dog on point. they look about to explode. never did hunt rabbit behind a dog.Yeah it takes a lot of patience training a pup, but its worth it when they finally get the hang of it.
That’s my point, see it here a lot. Found dogs with zero identification.Likely if you were going to dump a dog off you would be smart enough to take the tag off, but then again, maybe not!
Hunting rabbits (snowshoe hare) is great sport. A lot of people here hunt ptarmigan with bird dogs, I've never tried that. Whatever you hunt with a dog, its more about working with the dog then what you actually come home with, IMO.And while i do not hunt any longer (except barn pigeons) there is nothing like a bird dog on point. they look about to explode. never did hunt rabbit behind a dog.
Yep. With kids you just got to find a spot where they will be likely to catch something, size or what they are catching don't matter, as long as they catch something! I have a 2 1/2 yr old grandson who I can't wait to take next summer. My daughter won't let me take him in the boat yet, but he loves sitting in it on the trailer playing with all the switches and steering wheel.Kinda !ike fishing with kids....
