Does my 1986 25hp johnson tiller steer have an overheat alarm? I can't seem to find anything that looks like a horn or a temp sensor.

Thanks in Advance!
Shane
You could add a temp gauge..Might be difficult to find a place to mount the gauge though..And a little plumbing modification too, but it can be done.. Most marine supply stores carry gauges.. (Less than $50 for gauge and sender) Just rember that you will need constant 12 volts to power the gauge and the engine must be grounded to the same circut as the gauge.. I run a temp gauge on my 50 merc and would'nt be without it..It saved my motor once already.. As for the alarm I'm not sure..There might be something avalible..
