I have to agree with Tashadaddy.....

We are doing great as a whole.

achris..... the spoken word is normally related to geographic areas in the US. Dialects, slang and word meanings vary too.... there are even languages based on tribes....

I have heard that the "american english" is one of the toughest languages to learn however, we have such a mixed population...... it's really unknown what is right and wrong.....

Spell checkers are great as long as you have the right word.

Why preview? If somebody can't figure it out,, they always let me know. Previewing is not required for those of us who never make misteaks

I see a lot of 'errors' in posts that I would have thought would be seen by the author had he/she clicked 'Preview Post' before they submitted it.

How do you know they were 'errors'?

I guess I will play "Devil"s Advocate" here and ask:Isn't this(') An "APOSTROPHE"???

Also I proofread my posts before submitting.

Didn't see that someone put the apostrophe thing up ---SORRY!!!!

Actually, no. Even though it appears the same, an apostrophe is used to mark the possessive of nouns and in conjunctions (i.e. Mary's, don't). When used before and after words/phrases it's a quote, or single quote. Normally, the single quote is only used when quotation is needed inside double quotes.

Who R U the grammar police? :D I don't use the review, I don't take the time. I just come back to edit, if need be. Yeah, I can't get the spellchecker to work either? I have spellcheck already downloaded on my e-mail but how do you get it to work on your reply here?
