I am using a 40lb thrust minn Kota trolling motor on a 12ft modified V aluminum boat, will any of these actually increase the batteries life a noticeable amount? I am trying to stay away from buying a spare battery to cut down on weight.

If trailer boat. Put a breakaway box on your trailer. You can use a lead cord of sorts to charge your batteries going down the road.. the system will self regulate

These are just small batteries to recharge your main battery.
Yes they are smaller and lighter, but will not provide much power for you.
Possibly a NOCO GB70 would help.
But at $200 is it worth it.
A regular group 24 battery only weighs 40-45 lbs.
Most people can scrap 40# of non essential gear from their boat if weight is truly an issue.

The two biggest killers of batteries are deep discharges and not charging them immediately after discharge.

The lifetime of a battery is directly related to the depth of the discharge that it regularly experiences.

If you subject a deep cycle battery to 80% (11.58V) DOD on a regular basis you will get roughly half the life out of your battery than if you were to cycle it to 50% (12.06V) DOD.
