Yes.

They are best when set up with a spring system. (4 lines holding the boat) and are easiest if they are hinged to go vertical if your boat has a tower or is tall. Although I normally don't store the boat on the dock for any length of time I often use them when docked for part of the day. It makes it more pleasant to be on the dock or in the boat. I have had my 22' boat on the whips when a storm came up that was covering my floating dock completely with breaking waves and the boat was fine.

Mooring whips work on a large variety of boats, yours's included.

As was suggested, you will want to use spring lines, plus bow and stern lines, in addition to the mooring whips. The mooring whips are used to pull the boat away from the dock.

My dock is exposed to the NE wind, which is the strongest here. I use 4 mooring whips on my 21 footer. It will still hit the dock gently when it really storms, but the whips keep damage to a minimum.

Agree with the spring lines, they are a necessity, keeps the boat lined up so the whips can do there job..
