Long shaft or short?
Any ideas on weight?
This is a 13.5 I picked up to work on

Thanks man. The reason i ask is because when i measured it seemed like 15 would not quite clear the lowest point of the vee, and a 20 would overshoot. Either way the short shaft cavitation plate would be well under water so i guess a short will be good.

Anyone want to speculate of weight? Minimum HP to just plane with 1 person?

Cool site but not listed. Also, i dont agree with the 75% rule. If it was rated for a 40 that means 30 is the minimum? Ill bet 15 breaks plane
