Looking at a 1995 dixie 19 ft. Is there anything I need to know or look for? Boat has been in inside storage all it's life and looks and runs perfect. This is my neighbors boat and has not seen any salt water. It has been used very little (like 2-3 a summer)

Good boats, they went out of business after a fire, but were well made boats. Check the normal things, weak transom,soft spots,any physical damage. Make sure the wiring is intact and not pieced together. Make sure the motor runs well and has good compression.

I have a 1980 Dixie 18' Center Console that I purchased new. Great boat. Mined is trailered and covered. I believe the stringers on yours are wood like most of the era. Sounds like a nice boat. Good Luck.
