That is a plate that seals the intake manifold exhaust crossover if you want toAh, I see. I haven't run across one like that.
i think you do If you take the choke coil out. If you can leave it in place probably not. Im just not sure if you can put the electric choke housing on it if you leave the old choke stove in place.Do I necessarily have to cover this up or can I just leave it exposed with that choke off? I will be converting it over to an electric choke
No I have the old choke housing removed, I just was thinking of leaving it off & installing an electric choke. I just didn’t know if I could leave the face of it exposed.i think you do If you take the choke coil out. If you can leave it in place probably not. Im just not sure if you can put the electric choke housing on it if you leave the old choke stove in place.
your local hardware store has metal and bolts. all you need is a hacksaw and drill.I don’t care about the look as much as the functionality….also I can’t even find a plate for it
I know that but there’s got to be a block off plate kit out there somewhereyour local hardware store has metal and bolts. all you need is a hacksaw and drill.
That was fir small block…mine is a big block as stated..See post #3
Oh…no kidding… Do you know a part number for a electric shock for one of these Quadra jet carburetor’s?Some of those electric choke kits have a bracket that gets bolted to that same pad where the spring would have mounted.
