Dies after getting hot!!!!

Alrit guys I've got a 1996 bayliner Capri ss has the mercruiser 5.0 alpha motor and it runs fine until about 2 hours into the day then it's acts like its running out of fuel and dies I've cleaned carb n checked filter n carb any help woul be appericated

the pick up tube in the tank which is the pipe that goes to the bottom is more than likely split and sucking air as fuel is reduced during the day.does it run for another 2 hours if you let it cool down and if not refill the tank and see if that cures the fault.more than likely the pick up tube will be at fault though.

Yes after it cools down it will run great sometimes it's hard to start
