How hard is it to strip an 88 horse 1987 v4 evinrude motor down to the power head. how heavy are they?? one option i've found is shipping the power head off for a complete remanufacture. just trying to see how big of a job it will be.<br /><br />thanks<br /><br />Mike

That is a very basic V-4, The proper manual will walk you through it, with photo's, and directions.
