Why is the NAACP not a racist organization but the NAAWP is? How about the United Negro College Fund? What if somebody tried to open a United Caucasian College Fund? If Fox were to air a program called America's White Forum, what would be the ramifications? Would they put in a token black like the black forum puts in a token white?<br /><br />Playing the Race Card is for Bigots and The Guilty. But I digress... <br /><br />The Democrats don't need a rule to know whats right. They showed that with the Jefferson thing. You guys, like always, are trying to turn this around. How embarassed you must be to be on the side of Delay, Rove, Cheney, Coulter, Rummy and the likes.

Boomyal,<br /><br />Have you ever heard of a Political Leadership Action Committee?<br /><br />It's a Political Action Committe unlike many others.<br /><br />Everyone knows that PAC's accept funds to give to politicians that support their position. I think they corrupt the American political system but that is another post.<br /><br />The Political Leadership Action Committe is much different. Instead of the funds going directly to the politician you may support the funds go to the heads of the politcal leaders of a party.<br /><br />The party then decides who gets the money. If they have a member that is sitting the fence or his folks back home want him to vote contrary to the party hierarchy they can use the money to force him to vote their way. Not the way of the folks that elected him back home. The Republican leadership under Newt Gingrich came up with this animal. You either vote the way of the five or six in power or you get no funds. Contributors are being strong armed into making most, if not all, of their contributions to the PLAC.<br /><br />This monster is a creation of the Republican party.<br /><br />Do you really want your Senator or Representative to have to toe the line that is determined by so few people? Is this truly the spirit of bipartisanship when members of your own party cannot disagree?<br /><br />Can this country be served well when so few can wield so much power?<br /><br />If the Republican and Democratic party get to the point that just a few men on each party have that much clout then that sets the stage for some very powerful entities to basically start running this nation as it suits them. Their concerns may not be yours.
