Deflectors

I am changing out the deflectors on an '84 johnson 90hp. Will the ID of these deflectors make much of a difference? I have some 3/8" OD x 3/16" ID hose. The old ones were collapsing and not real sure of what the ID is.

ID won't matter. OD and length are the only measurements that matter.
