Deck Restoration Please Help!

Just got my 1st boat(a freebie) w/ an Evinrude 450 v4 StarfliteOB. I'm a carpenter with no experience in boat repair. Any help with my project would be greatly appreciated!

Spent all day gutting most of the floor

Engine ran 3 yrs prior after having magnetos replaced? then sat uncovered

Only visible damage on exterior

We will need a little more info and perhaps some pictures to help you with the deck . We need to know if its aluminum or fiberglass as that wil make a differance on the deck replacement. Welcome to iboats .

Ok She is fiberglass you have some itchy nights ahead of you . Your best bet to start is to use the search feature and search Deck and stringers . That will give you an easy week or 2 of reading . From the looks of her you will be doing the deck , stringers and transom not a great deal of fun but once done she will be like a new boat. You will be doing alot of grinding soon . I recomend a Tyvec suit some nitrile gloves and a decent respirator and thats just for the grinding part .

All for the deck and stringers but the transom seems pretty solid is there any way to beef it up/seal it without replacing it?

only mild rot on interior4"x10" near boat hole area,mostly mold and no flexing or exterior damage?

Anyways.. I better get to reading. Thanks for getting me started
