[/IMG] <br /><br />Firstly I want to say a "big thank you" for all the info received by various posts on this forum. It assisted me in making the better decisions and eventually finding the guts to tackle the task of building a fishing deck. Six days of hard work mind you but worth all the sweat. Major changes was to make the transom higher to ensure cavitation plate level with the hull. Tested three week ends in a row and still holding fast. <br />
A boatbuilder friend of mine put me onto a store that sells auto carpet rolls. Things to take into consideration with carpets is heat retention, water retention, durability, cleanability and costability (lol)
