Was talking to a boat dealer about a couple project boats and he told me a story from earlier this week.
He sold a nice open bow to a couple and went over everything with them, took them on the water for an hour and suggested they take a safe boating course. Everyone was happy. Two days later the guy comes in panicked and says the boat just sank at the ramp/dock after putting it in. The dealer sends his mechanic and they manage to drag it back on to a trailer and to the dealership.
A quick walk around and there is no boat plug. He asks the guy, ?Did you forget the boat plug?? The guy, dead seriously said, ?Of course not, I plugged it in before we left home. Otherwise the brake lights and turn signals don?t work?.
