Deal or No Deal- '75 Starcraft 25' Project

Well, even though I'm about 90% finished with my fiberglassed Starcraft 15 project, I ran across this and am contemplating it.

So, what do the experts think? Worth the project or forget about it?

If it was me I'd go for it, but I'd plan on replacing the whole drive train.

But man, aluminum hull and a hard top... nice.

I would show up with 10 pictures of Ben in one pocket and the rest in my other pocket ( cash talks ) . Looks like it would clean up nice though .

Sweet boat, I would go look at it. The nice thing about aluminum hulls is you can almost forsee what will need to be done. If the motor has good compression and runs I'd give 1500. Not knowing about i/o motors I would offer less if not running.

if the motor and outdrive are good, then i would offer 1200-1300... if not then i wouldnt pay anymore than 800-900...

the best part is the hardest part is going to be the cabin... the rest is cake.

Definitely go and have a look. Always offer less if you decide you want it. Craigslist is all about negotiating. I think if I got the "itch" to start another it would be aluminum and not glass.

Biggest issue with that boat is the OMC Outdrive.....
Other than that, yeah shes the Queen of the fleet fo sho!
