I have a 21 foot inboard DD ski boat. It runs very straight under nearly all scenarios. However, if I am under power, as soon as I let off the throttle, it pulls HARD left. It seems to only do this if I am above roughly 40 mph prior to backing off the throttle. Is this normal for a DD (this is the first time I have driven one)? If not, any idea what could cause this? As I said, it drives very straight in all other scenarios from 5 mph to 50 mph. The only time I have an issue is when trying to slow down from approximately 40+ mph. I have to crank the wheel hard right at the same time I pull the throttle back to avoid a dangerous hard left turn.
