Walmart sells a very nice one made by Ozark and very in-expensive. It comes with several adapters for diffrent types of valves and it plugs right in to a
12volt insert or you have the option to:D use the cables that hook up to your battery. If I remember right I paid under $30 bucks and it inflates and deflates and very quick. I've had it for a coulple years and no problems yet.

I bought a mini wet/dry shop vac for vechicles that also doubles as an inflator for tubes and the like. It works great and is small enough to stow well. Plugs into the cig lighter, got it at big 5 for about $15.00 on sale and have been very happy so far plus I can vac the sand out of the boat when beach camping. Before that I had a very simple inflator just for tubes (wouldn't do a tire) it was very small but worked great 2-3 min and you were on the water. again it plugged into the lighter and could be thrown under a seat etc when not in use, also had a bunch of tips to accommidate any type fill neck.
