Yeah, I know it's sponsored by Coke Zero now but It's still the Firecracker 400 to me.

Qualifying might be interesting tomorrow. Danica was 7th fastest in the first practice today. Can she take the pole again at Daytona? Tune in Friday late afternoon.

Can she take the pole? Maybe. But when she's in traffic? Not impressive. She's a mid-pack driver at best, and when things don't go her way, watch out, she'll take you out from lack of skill.

And when there is any amount of pressure for position, she concedes.
She should be in ALMS or TA series, where the rules protect drivers like her from aggressive diving or avoidable contact.
But, she is still a cash cow, for now.

At the moment, she is still not near aggressive enough in Cup. She needs to learn "rubbin' is racin' ". I think she can't shake the racing mentality of Indycar........ Hopefully that will change and she will become more competitive.............

She did plenty of 'rubbin in Indycar. I saw her cause many-a-wreck that took out other cars, and her frustration belied the fact that she was usually to blame. I think she'd be too dangerous in ALMS unless she wasn't in a prototype or something.

She is certainly a cash cow, and I guess if that's the main way you can keep yourself in a racing field, then so be it?
At least until she starts taking out other cars with her......then other teams will start barking.

Lining up like a train already and just riding around, hope this doesn't go on all race. Glad to see Burton a ways back instead of toward the front. He always rides up front during plate races and fades towards then end if he doesn't wreck. Maybe this will bring a different end result. Like a win!
