We are racing at Darlington this week (Sunday at 6PM ET). The first Southern 500 at Darlington was raced in 1950! Darlington is a 1.366 mile oval with 25 degrees of banking in turns 1 & 2 and 23 degrees of banking in turns 3 & 4. There is 3 degrees of banking on the front stretch and 2 degrees on the back stretch. The race is 367 laps. Hendrick Motor Sports is the team with the most wins (11) and David Pearson holds the record with the most wins with 10 total.
Practice is Saturday at 12:05 and Qualifying is Saturday at 12:50 (USA Network). The race is scheduled for 6PM Sunday on USA Network.
