Hi everyone, I know the White and orange buoy with a diamond shape means “danger” (shallow, rocks, etc) and I also know that we need to proceed with caution. My questions is, what is the safety distance to pass this buoy to avoid any dangerous situation? Is there a specific side (port or starboard) to pass trough this buoy?

thanks and regards!

Does not necessarily mark a danger. Could mark restricted areas, Construction zones, special speed limits, etc.

the buoy should indicate something that is on your chart. what does your chart say?
