If my engine is trimmed just slightly up, my lower cylinder of three will stop working. If someone walks into the front of the pontoon boat, it will also occur. Any idea why this is, and what I can do about it, besides always trimming down. The plug will be wet when this occurs, so I am loosing fire for some reason, seems I may be flooding the cylinder??? I have a 2000 70hp Johnson.

It may be that you have an inlet needle & seat that is leaking, and flooding out the bottom carb. If the needle is'nt seating, trimming up would have the effect of raising the float level, and letting in to much fuel. Trim the engine up while shut off, squeeze the primer bulb, and look for fuel pouring out the bottom carb.
