It's got 101 on it, mintish, prior owner put Royal Purple in all diffs, tranny, engine, 3.5 TT Eco, max tow 3.73's 4x4, auto 6 speed, Ford just did a tranny svc on it for the eletrical wires that go to the tranny/pan , curious if I should renew warranty ( all under hood, diffs, tranny, tcase, ) $2300 for 36 mos, or 36000 miles,

I never have nor will I ever buy an extended warranty on anything….

You wouldn't have spammers calling twice about a day to pitch extended warranties if the odds of them paying out are not heavily weighted in their favor.

A higher likelihood is mouse damaged wiring; which would not be covered by said warranty. But may be covered by insurance

$2300 will get a lot of work done. IF you have catastrophic failure it is good money spent, but what are your chances of that? I would put my money to good use elsewhere. But that is me.

if you turn your own wrenches, a complete low mileage drivetrain from a wrecked truck is less than $2k

Well, you probably wont have issues with the diffs, tranny or t-case. Under hood, 101k miles, probably not, I would keep the money in my pocket too...

3.5 V6 EB TT?
Yes, 3.5 EcoBoost Twin Turbo IIRC, 360 (ish) HP. . . Body is clean. I figure if something major goes wrong, it might be worth just getting another one with less mileage on it. . . or get it fixed with used parts.

Have you considered one of those repair insurance coverages, like 'car shield'?
