I am trying to find out what the difference is between a cupped and uncupped prop. Some said that it adds and inch to the pitch. another said it was designed for the trim systems.
The differance between an uncupped and cupped prop is in the design of the trailing edge of the blades. A cupped prop will bite the water better and will allow you to attain higher trim angles and turn tighter before blowing out or cavitating
