In all reality the 140 loopers are the most powerful V4 engines ever build.

i raced a 20' mako 140 looper against a 19 grady bowrider with a DF150.

guess who kicked *** here?

and yes they like gas thats why they are reliable and if you take care of them they keep on running.
the only problem that i find on these engines is the aluminum in saltwater engines rots away fairly quick.

other than that you can put any 2 liter 140hp engine against my 140 and see who kicks ***.

im looking for one of those 140 pos now few mods run great looking for my mckee it has 175 crossflow now need to lighten up my stearn
