crankshaft bearings 7.5hp 1983

It looks like bearings will be shots in not long.
Engine is running very well an do a perfect job for me. Would like to keep it!

Where to find replacements powerhead bearings? they seems inpossible to find on the web.

Go to http://shop.evinrude.com/ Click on Electronic Parts Catalog on the right side of the screen and enter the information till you get to the parts list for your motor. You can order the parts direct from BRP.

If it is the lower main ball bearing, then replacing it shouldn't be an issue. If it is the center, upper or one of the rod beaings, then it may also mean the crankshaft is shot. Let us know what you find...
