Hello All,
I have an 87 SeaRay Seville 190BR abd the top caps gel coat is severally cracked and I would like to here your input about the repair that I am thinking about.
I would rough sand the gelcoat with 80 grit to give it some bite and use CSM, chopped strand mat, and glass over the entire topcap then sand down and regel coat the top cap and paint the entire boat.
What do you think?
If I am going to paint the boat, do I need to apply the gelcoat?
What manufacture would you recommend for the materials.
I am not looking for show quality, just want a nicer looking boat.
Thank You
Brian
