Am I to understand that you picked this motor up for $51.00!!!!!:eek::eek:

Will the controls for your 60hp work on it? What kind of drive are you looking at to get to Michigan?

Congrats on a GREAT deal a70eliminator!:D

Re: couldn't let this one get away

Well after a 5hr drive I have the motor in my posession, the compression is good and I'm now in the process of swaping everything over from my 60hp to make it a long shaft, had to remove powerhead to swap longer water tubes what a pain. i'm going with the carbs off the 60 too just because they're fresh, maybe have to swap in the 80's high speed jets. My transom is torn apart right now and the motor is bolted to an engine stand it works out well.
