Costco PVC Garage Flooring for Gunwales and Cockpit??

Hello all. Has anybody used this or heard of someone doing it? The Diamond Plate look would be appealing and it should be robust. At $190CAD the price is attractive,,,, Just wondering if it would expand/contract too much? The bow cover and gunwales on my 17.2' Smokercraft Fazer have 2 overlapping seams per side and would look like crap Linex'd etc. I could cut and install the garage flooring in one solid piece. Carpet would look good but the wet carpet thing is off putting. I'd appreciate some input thanks!!

I think it would work. It might be slippery when wet.
