Cost of rebuild for 100HP

Hi all back again, I'm wondering if someone can tell me how much it can cost
to have a power head rebuilt. I can pull the power head myself and strip all the heads and carbs and just take the power head to shop for the bore and new pistons and bearings. any idea? 1989 100HP Johnson GT

it all depends if it need one hole done, or all of them. no way to tell until it is torn down. then you get into rods, cranks, etc.

Complete rebuild in the new england area can run $5-600 per cylinder but that includes everything from tear down to test run with a guarantee.

You can do it yerself for $600 for the lot plus bearings if needed.

local shops around here want up in the $7,000 range. I have heard of people getting them between $1,200 - $2,200 but who knows
