Cooling problems with Evinrude 9.5 HP

Need advice, Please!<br /><br />i got a 1971 Evinrude Outboard with 9,5 HP.<br />I ran it on Thursday and everything worked.<br />When i ran it yesterday there was no cooling water coming out!<br />I've already checked the impeller and it looked used, but quite ok.<br />Does anybody know where the Problem could be?<br /><br />Thanks <br /> Flo

If you don't know when the impeller was last replaced, change it, Flo. Impellers should be replaced at or before 2 years even when they appear okay.<br /><br />If that does not restore the tell-tale further troubleshooting will be required.<br /><br />Good luck.

Ok, Thanks i'll buy one on mondays.<br />Hope to get one, as parts are quite difficult to get in Germany! My dealer told me he can't order them any more! I'm not sure if that is the truth.<br />We'll see! <br /><br />Thanks for your advice!!<br /><br />FLO
