Re: cooling problem

How do you know you are getting no water to the heads? Have you removed the T-stats and run the engine. You should get water squirting out the holes. If you don't then either your water pump is not water pumping or the poppet valve is not seating. The V6 motors use an enormous amount of water and often on a garden hose you cannot supply the volume required. Mine never pees well on the hose. Your caution however is correct and you need to proceed carefully as you will cause damage to the motor if you are not getting cooling.
