Cooler latches on Q4

[Q4 Stan]

On my 2010 the cooler latches don't seem to have enough holding power. The rear cooler lid on the bench tends to fly up when the wind speed picks up.

I installed a swivel hasp on the outside of the cooler and it keeps it shut and secure. I'm wondering if anyone else had this problem and what solution they took to fixing.

Yeah those friction latches doesn't work. I used a clamp latch on my Q7i and it works great!

check with warrenty on the bunge strap and hook that the now put on the aft compartments. Have seen where they will send at no cost.

Go back to your dealer and explain the problem as it is very common. They will either supply you with the new hook clasp or a strap that you fasten to a marine fastener (similar to the snaps on your covers). Also, they will supply them at no cost.

The factory part numbers that my dealer used when ordering the strap and hook are , 159177 for the hook , and 159175 for the strap.
