Do you have a heat exchanger(cylinder with coolant lines attached to it and a pressure cap, like on a radiator)?
NO - then you have raw water cooling
YES - then you have fresh water cooling
If yes, is it a half or full system?
you will have to determine (by looking at the cooling hoses) if your manifolds are cooled by the coolant mixture or sea water.
The first thing you will need if you plan on doing any of your own work is the
Mercruiser Factory Service Manual. Clymers and Seloc
