It is a simple question really, though i feel simple that i can't figure it out i currently have a quicksilver side control with power tilt trim and i think it's a push key choke, with a fast idle lever that you lift up. long story short i need a new one, i have some ??? to buy it but i have no idea what part number i need etc, i have the service manual and that was not helpful.
i spoke to a mariner dealer to ask the question and he said that i need part number 881170A15 with Power Trim w/ key switch/CHOCK and 15' harness but i would love to know how he knows finds the part number, as it is nearly ?300 quid all in i would like to reassure myself .....
so can someone shine the light as to how i go about identifying the correct control unit and harness?
