Hello all,

I have a 1986 175 hp mariner that an oil line broke i replaced it and also the remote assembly now it beeps constant. I removed the cowl and noticed that one of the oil lines had came off of the t connector. It's not coming from the tank and i cannot find where it goes to i have found a seems to me a push button that has 2 lines coming from the back of it going into the motor, would that be where the line goes?Any help will be greatly appreciated

I did not brup the oil system when i replaced the line should i?I put a gallon of oil in tank it stopped beeping then started back

I have started mixing oil in my gas just in case the injector has stopped working. The motor seems to run just fine.In doing this can i just unhook the oil warning module?

a constant beep is not oil related unless tha module has gone south.. do you get tha three "self test" beeps when you turn tha key ta "on"?. does it start tha beep instantly when key is turned on?..

tha "main" tank in tha boat is pressurized by tha motor.. it will force feed oil to tha small tank on tha motor to keep it full... don't know of any "button" ta be pushed?.. it you are talkin' about an empty hose/bib on tha "T" in tha line going to tha motor tank it may/may not have a hose on one side of tha T.. it goes no where.. tha T is a pressure relief valve.....
