Hello,
I have a 99 Mercury 150hp Bluewater Series. From time to time if I were to get a bump from a wave, my alarm would beep but soon stop. Now it won’t stop after the last wave. Manual says it’s 1 of 4 things. Oil pump, low oil, water pump or overheating. It’s none of these. Any suggestions to get it to stop would be greatly appreciated. I’m about to cut that bugger out!

continuous or oscillating beep?.. with first description "if I were to get a bump from a wave, my alarm would beep but soon stop. Now it won’t stop after the last wave" sounds like a faulty cap on motor tank.. you do not wanna get rid of tha buzzer.. its tha only over heat warning ya have with that motor.... do you get tha three "self check" beeps with initial key "on"?

Full on. As soon as the boat starts and then when the ignition is in the on position. Steady beeping nonstop. I’ll try the purple wire when I get home.
