I think some people should have intelligence tests before they are allowed to pilot a boat...
still, it takes all kinds huh? and if we didnt' see stuff like that. this board segment would be rather boring.. :)

rgds

Frank

Amazing what internet boards can do.

Brought me half way around the world twice! Just had to see a certain ozzie face-to-face so I went downunder. Stayed with him for two unbelieveably great weeks.

Went back four years later to cruise Brisbane-Tangalooma Island-Surfers Paradise-Sidney-Broken Hill-Adelaide-Coober Pedy and more. One month of lefthand driving - of those ten days with the South Australian friend's home as base.

And the next trip is planned to be in 2006.

BTW: The Oz way IS great.

We were out a few weeks ago fishing. Beautifull day no clouds or wind.
Lots of bikinis. Nope I didn't look, yeah right.
Wife yelled at me and told me to watch where I was going before we hit something.
I gave in and let her pilot the boat.

Firstly, UU.. Australia has some fantastic fishing.. next time you come over, you might consider Western Australia, we have all kinds of water here, river fishing, then there is the kimberly ranges which is just awesome.. then we have ocean fishing that is practically unrivaled anywhere in the world..
So if you come over here, look into Broome as a possible destination.. and out behind rottnest island.. there are a ton of possibilities..

MG, my lady has an interesting take on the whole "looking at girls" issue.. she will sit beside me, and point them out for me.. and when I look, she hits me.. I can't help looking, she can't seem to help pointing them out, so I come home bruised and battered alot. :)

maybe thats intentional on her part,, certainly makes sense.. her version of "revenge is a dish best served cold."

still, not much I can do about it..

Crabbait, if your around, I just got you photos today, I'll scan them shortly and put them up for download/viewing soon.

rgds

Frank

Franki, if you want to look at women without getting battered, you might consider my approach:

I look, I analyze thoroughly, I am aware I am being watched, then I criticize everything I don't like about the body I had looked at and everything is fine because apparently I did not like what I saw.

But I got a pretty good look, remember? ;-)

Lou

Re: confession is good for the soul. :)

been there, done that,, she was smart enough to work that one out real fast.. might have been the fact that during the course of one day I critised about 50 females..

So then I tried to explain that guys were genetically designed to look, its what we do..

she told me to evolve..

She told me that we were civilised enough that we should be able to fight our hormones.. I told her I'd remind her of that a week before she is next due... she hit me...

We can't win, they just keep us around because its fun to torture us.. there is no wining.. logic, reasoned arguements,,, none of them can stand up to the emotional impassioned woman.. and most men find that cute enough to live with.. I know I do. :)

regards

Frank

Only one time my wife ever minded I was looking. We were pulled up at the dock and she was asking me a question. I was too busy watching two young ladies wresteling in the water to even respond and in fact I had no clue what she even said. However women in bikinis wresteling in water usually ebds up like this one did with tops skewed around and things exposed so it was worth it.

If we were not supposed ta look at girls, they would not have invented bikinis. which are designed to cover very little of a womans body.. and make it extremely "lookable". in the words of Garth in Waynes World, "Schwing!!!!"

No woman can really expect a guy to ignore a babe in a bikini, its not human, or I should say its not male..

We are designed to be visual creatures, which mean looking at stuff effects us.. and we are drawn to look at certain stuff..

like women in bikini's and nice boats.
(usually, but not necessarily in that order)

I fully reserve my right to look.. and if my lady is wearing a bikini, I will look at her too. :)

rgds

Frank

Re: confession is good for the soul. :)

probably cos its not safe,,,

I am still convinced that the reason for all that happend in the message at the top of this post is because the stranger that is now my lady was in a ittsy bitsy bikini on the bow of my boat.. my concentration was shot from that and all the other problems were side issues stemming from that..

women really should wear hessen sacks when there is fishing or boating to be done. :)

rgds

Frank

thats funny stuff frank! no doubt on the visual creature we are. in jr high/high school, i lived next door to an all girl family, 5 of em, and they had a pool in the backyard. the youngest=my age. i probably did well in school because i learned how to pay attention to detail & concentrate (on that pool area)-lol

Crab bait, you're perferctly right. Why not combine both?

Been there, done that. Had 4 females on my boat once, one was my mom (Hi mom!) and the other three were gorgeous girls from Europe in bikinis suntanning on the bow. You can imagine all the hollering, whistling, yelling and showing off from the guys passing us on their boats (from 14' tin cans to 40' twin 460 speedboats).

One of the girls also did a funny thing: when the guys waived at us, she waived back, with both hands, crossing each other. Oops, did somebody say distress signal? We forgot to inform her, my bad. So we had bunch of males pull up to my boat. They were as sure as hell glad that we needed help (or that's what they thought).

No more European girls in bikinis on my boat, I don't want to cause an accident! :D

Have fun and be safe
Lou

Re: confession is good for the soul. :)

yeah,

can't argue with that, it certainly looks cool havin kini clad ladies sunbaking on the bow... though mine is not big enough for 4 of them..

two is my limit...
but I made a rule that they have to stay there while we are underway.. the sight of one of them climbing round the outside of the cabin or squeezing through the hatch is too much for my heart :)

wonder if crashing because of distraction by bikini clad women is classed as an act of god to insurance companies ? :)

rgds

Frank

Re: confession is good for the soul. :)

Just thought of another confession..

few years back I was on the boat with a few mates to go see the fireworks..

anyway, we cruise around all day no problems.. (well not many) and then comes time to anchor to see the show.. so I tell my offsider to take the wheel and keep her steady against the current, (there are many many other boats anchored in this area, so you can't just throw the anchor out and drift back, you have to go slightly forward of where you want to end up, throw the anchor and hope you were right.)

So anyway, he takes the wheel and I go up front to do the anchor duties, the motor is not much above idle to keep in place against the tide.. (we were moving forward at a couple of knots.)
So I throw the anchor, start feeding it line, and yell to the offsider to kill the motor, then I yell louder,, then louder again, then much louder and with profanities.... then the anchor line snaps because we ran out of line and were still going forwards.

He apparently couldn't hear me screaming at the front of the boat.. but since there was only about 3.5 meters between us, I find that hard to understand. (believe)

So the most embarassing thing was that I took us back to sure, found a big bolder, put it on the nose of the boat, went back out, tied the anchor rope round the bolder and pushed it off the side.

in front of about 50 other boaters, I felt soooo embarrased.. but at least we got to see the show.

pulling the bolder back up later was no easy task, so I got it close to the boat and cut the line.

what a day..... :(

rgds

frank
