I had to ask. You're new and posting from a cell phone.

Unless West Marine is asking something crazy for the plugs, just buy them there. After all the hassle of finding, ordering, and waiting for the plugs....you're really not saving anything by ordering online.

Ok I'm posting from my phone because I'm in the android community new to boats but as far as west marine goes they have to order them also so can you suggest a online store or parts place

Re: Compression

Once you add shipping to the plug cost, it would be cheaper to go to NAPA and pick some up. They usually have marine plugs.

Posting from a cell phone and only willing to order online? are you going to drive your boat remotely from your computer as well? Stand up, grab your car keys, put your shoes on and go buy some stinkin spark plugs. are you on an island with no auto parts stores? your phone has forum functions but not google? and then you get attitude with these guys that are trying to help you? you are being impatient for answers to your questions, yet you have the patience to wait 10 days for your spark plugs to get to your door? gonna have the UPS guy install them for you as well? I am new here as well, and I am also new to boats. what i am not new to is courtesy and respect for the people who are trying to assist you. Go to Discount Auto, buy your plugs, put them in your motor. you will be done with the entire process in under an hour. or, order them online, pay for shipping and stare at your outboard till they show up.

I do have a job that I can't make the store that's why I'm asking if you must no also I'm being very patient btw didn't ask for anything else that someone would have not asked so relax

Re: Compression

Stop fretting about psi. It is not important if it is above about 70psi. There are too many variables to set a spec for psi. What is important is that all cylinders compress the same +/- 10%. If you got 80psi on all 6 cylinders your compression is fine.
