I understand this is in the wrong section but I couldn't post it in the other. I firstly want to thank everyone for the advice I received to help me finish my boat restoration. the boat still needs a few things which I am finishing now, for example the bow cap, since I dont have one I am fabricating one out of aluminum. Hope you like the before and after pictures.

It will take me sometime to upload them and because i have restrictions to how many pictures i can upload at a time. I will finish by tomorrow thanks again.. Enjoy!

Any questions about the pictures or what they are of or how i did something feel free to reply and ask

What was needed to be repaired on the boat:
Complete rebuild of transom...
Patch floor...
Repair body...
Box out drain channels...
Build box seat...
Build speaker box...
Paint...
Install lights...
Run electrical wire throughout the boat...
Install stereo system...
Install and fabricate seat...
Re-Wire trailer...
Fiberglass transom, floor, drain base etc...

Im sure there is more I will remember at another time

Stuff left to do:
Replace pulley steering with single cable tilt tube steering...
Fabricate bow cap...

Wow this is awesome. Great Job! Have you finished her up yet? I am currently restoring a 1969 Chrysler myself. If you don't mind, I have a ton of questions about the interior of my boat. Here are some pics. Notice the bow cap.

keeping an eye on ebay/craigs list would be your best bet....but getting one fabricated by a machine shop is also an option...if you have pictures and dimension you could have just about anything fabricated. the boat looks good...like your paint job!

Re: Completed 1966 Chrysler Tri-Hull

These were not turly considered a trihull but thats infact what they were. Chrysler called them a HydroVee. They were a cross between a DeepV and a trihull for stability. With this design while on plane the tris would not be in the water since they sit up higher than they would in a trihull but while sitting in the water they would stabilize the hull like a trihull. Just a little info on this. On the cap I would see about using some aluminum channel and cutting and welding it up or use some 1/8" plate and roll form and weld it up. I really shouldn't be that hard to make one that will work. You might be able to find one with the Chryslers Crew yahoo groups there is a classifieds section where you can see if anyone has one available. Here is the website http://www.hurrikain.com/Chryslercrew-new.htm

BTW awesome paint scheme

Sorry Woodonglass, but I have been trying to find someone else with the same rare Chrysler that I have and I finally found someone. So my bad if I didn't think this boat restoration would take longer than 3 months.
