I never understood why very good teams play scrubs at the end of the season except to fine tune for the playoffs or Bowls.
Bama didnt play a ranked team until yesterday. But, its not their fault. I didn't know this:

The other day I saw two teams made a schedule announcement for 2032 and 2033. I think it was Georgia, but I paid no mind cuz I probably won't be watching. The Sun Belt and Mid-American conferences may be the powerhouses by then. LOL

I have no love loss for Coach Saban. He looked like a Deer in the headlights more than a few times yesterday and it looked good on him. He could not believe how poorly his team played. Much of it had to be reflected in poor coaching. Stupid penalties and poor execution are coaching problems in my eyes, they were not prepared. I have no respect for Saban since he walked out on his team in Miami.

If you notice - Saban seldom takes the blame. Yesterday Tug made a bad choice and the defense wasn't doing it's job, among other excuses he made. How much does Saban and his coaching staff make compared to his players, even after the NCAA ruled players can be paid pennies for using their likeness, etc.?
