Not long ago I spotted a 64 red Catalina convertible on the side of the road with a for sale sign on the windshield. I called the guy and took it for a spin. Great condition - no rust at $12k. I was tempted until I realized that I would have to add about 6' to my garage for it to fit so I passed on it.
When I got my drivers license my mom had a Nash Rambler. A car that could not have been any uglier or less cool - ran well though. "My first car" was a 54 Dodge convertible, stick with the hemi. That was a cool car but nothing like my second car - a 59 Olds convertible with fins that went on forever.
