If a OFF-1-BOTH-2 battery switch has two extra low-current terminals marked "F1" and "F2" they are most likely intended to be used with connections to alternator fields. This type of switch is most likely intended to be used with an automobile type alternator. The manufacturer, COLE-HERSEE, is still in business, has a web site, and should be easily reached. I suggest you contact them to obtain information specific to their product. Information directly from the manufacturer will be more reliable than other sources.
