Re: COLD....

We had a blizzard today but it ended before I got to go home. For those of you wondering there was enough snow that fell and lasted a couple of hours that we could make a few snowballs so it was a blizzard. Gonna get cold tonight but it should not be wet enough to close the roads except perhaps the big bridges and maybe not even them depending on how well they have dried off. 29 now and potential to get a lot colder.
BTW the question was asked can you fish in the heat my answer is yes I much prefer to because if I get too hot I can take a dip but if you accidentally take a dip this time of year you could die.

Re: COLD....

No prob. Mellow, start at 4am, get off the lake at 10-11am have lunch, then siesta till evening, catch the last hour of the day. Get to see both sunrise and sunset. Young at heart can go play in the water during the afternoon sun.
1/22/03 did tie the record for the day for being the warmest. Normally around 60/40 day/night. Yeah, weather is weird but I'll take it. Spent my early years(till 25) in the cold weather of Illinois. Remember setting pot of boiling water on carb. to warm/moisturize the air enough to fire up the truck in sub-zero temps. No mas, even though I enjoyed the winter sports.

Re: COLD....

Ain't it summer time for you folks down under Fishin? Be more than happy to pipe some of this cold down to ya'. I'd like to pay another visit to your patch of ground but like I said before talkin to one of your mates, I don't think the ol' 16 footer would hold enough beer for the trip. 7 degrees right now along the cold muddy banks of the mighty Ohio River.

OBJ

Zero degrees "F" as I look at the clock at 08:28 am and feeling chilly. This is the coldest January that I've see here at Dushore PA. (North east corner of PA. My oilman loves this...

Re: COLD....

Barely above freezing for a high and now the temp is starting to drop. There is a reason I don't live up north and this is it. I don't like the cold, I don't want the cold and here you can have it back now. I know to some of you it's not cold but dang it as I sit here in a longsleved shirt jeans and insulated boots still on I am still a little cold from doing the busses this morning. Usually I get by with a short sleved shirt (the ladies have bribed the ac man to keep the buildings warmer than he should) and coat but not today I even broke out the knit cap.

Something's Bad Wrong here today.. It's dull and really gray out, and it does'nt look like we're going to make it to 50 degrees, not to mention the wind...

At 1:30pm it was only 44 degrees at my shop...

I saw it snow here once in 1977 or there abouts', and if it does it again I'm moving to somewhere on the equator...

THIS IS REDICULOUS!!!! :( I CAN'T GET WARM!!!!
