Voltage at + while cranking is 8-9v. Not sure what you mean some arcing. From where to where? If you mean from high voltage wire to block, no spark at all.<br /><br />Disconnected condenser, still no spark from high voltage coil wire to block (1/4 inch gap.)<br /><br />Here's my wiring diagram.<br /><br />

disconnect gray wire from coil negative(leave black wire intact) and try again...<br /><br /><br />nice schematic!!

Grey goes to the tach. Already tried it but no go.

Just polished the points up and she fired right up. ARGGGGGGH!!!<br /><br />Wish I'd done that to begin with. I figured with them being brand new and hadn't put many hours on them they'd be fine. No pitting or corrosion but they must have just enough of a build up from sitting for acouple of months that they just needed to be polished.<br /><br />Thanks anyways. As always at least it's been an instructive process.
