Coil check

Ck coils on my 25hp evinrude, secondary great primary reading 03.5. Doesn't it supposed to be .03 to .15

a few ohms ...3.5 ..ohms I presume seems a bit high but indicates continuity is ok

is the coil causing issues ?? points and condensers are usually more suspects with the readings you have

btw indicate coil type engine model year etc...

I belieive those square coils are a couple hundred ohms HV and a few LV side ....
check utubes or experts will chime in .

i guess points are no longer the issue

Instead of guessing that coils are the issue , what trouble shooting was done ?-----What is your motor doing / not doing ?

Hard to start, spark plugs showing weak spark...runs and dies and bucks and kicks likes a mule. Don't say carb. System been thru
.

----Sparkplugs are a poor way to check spark.---Answer this question.-----Does spark jump a gap of 3/8"on a simple test device ?
