Cobra 2.3 - No Start

So I'm having a problem with my 1989 2.3l cobra TKO4 motor. Any help would be nice.
Here is what I have going on. No power to ignition I think.
New battery,starter,starter solenoid,plug wires,plugs,coil,and ignition.
I took the kill switch out and connected the two purple wires together. Still no power to the ignition.
What could I be missing?

your points might be grounded
