I just bought a late 70's 500X. There are three numbers on the plate. I know that the 85 is max hp. What is the 900 and 1460 for? I know that one is weight, but don't know which one.20230822_143253.jpg

900# is the limit of people. Since they consider each person to be 150# the plate is saying 6 persons. (confused yet). Often the plate will be stamped "6 persons or 900 pounds) What they mean is no more than 6 souls or a total weight of of not more than 900 pounds of people. 1460# is the max allowed weight of people and gear combined. 85 is the max horsepower.
