Contact CMC direct, I bought a new wiring harness complete with new relays last year for a 27 year old unit. Don't remember exactly how much but
seems like around $150.00 or less. Their tech person was very knowledgeable and helpful to troubleshoot the unit.Fast shipping also.
Thank you for the reply.

Here is a copy of the wiring diagram for that unit. It shows for jackplate, but T&T should be the same.
Auto supply stores like NAPA, Carquest, Autozone etc. should have relays that will work.

On a side note, any splices you make should be heat shrink connections. This prevents corrosion at the joints. And wire nuts are not to be used on any boat per Abyc standards. I'm sure you didn't put them wire nuts on there, the po probably did. Hope you get it figured out!

Now for my next problem. The part that the relays plug into , the down one is in bad shape and doesn't work. Can you tell me which one of the many I can populace it with. Or just any one that has 5 blades

The relays are in your wiring harness correct? If so, what I would do is go with insulated spade connectors and just make my own harness. Your favorite marine supply house should carry female spade connectors with insulating shrink wrap on them already. Probably Anchor brand. Crimp onto the wire and then shrink - I use a bbq windproof torch.

I don't have a favorite marine supply, can you suggest one?
