Well, I'm strongly considering adding the CMC PT-130 power trim/tilt unit to my 700lbs deep-V fiberglass hull , powered by a 92 non-pt Yamaha pro-60. (3-cyl)
I see the CMC jackplates have a very good reputation , anyone have any experience with the PT-130?
Anyone seen a better price than $499 (at Cabela's and BassPro)
Or should I just try to locate a used OEM Yamaha powertrim unit instead?

I just got the CMC manual jack plate. Seems to be of high quality. I like their power trim, I think it also gives you some setback that the factory will not.

Thanks,
I think the pt-130 gives me 6" of setback.

Now I'm waiting for a quote on shipping from BassPro.com , Shipping a 40# piece of aluminum to Norway is NOT cheap. , Cabela wanted $200 to ship a $499 unit , no way!
